Job summary

Morris County Vocational School District seeks staff for a grant-funded English program (16+) to improve reading, speaking, writing, and listening skills. Position involves supervising instructors, coordinating with staff, and providing data/reporting support across several sites, including Denville, Dover and Morristown. Training in LACES provided.

Two scheduling options exist: Saturday 8:00–1:00 and evening sessions two nights weekly. Compensation is $40.00 per hour, benefits not provided.

Qualifications

• NJ State Licensed teacher in an academic area at elementary or secondary level is required.
• ESL Teaching experience is preferred but not required.
• DOE Supervisor Certificate is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist instructors who have direct responsibility for teaching assigned classes.
• Facilitate communication to staff and students.
• Provide technical assistance as needed.
• Provide any and all information required by the Program Specialist/Coordinator for reports, etc.
• Input data into the LACES system (training provided).
• Facilitate registration of students which includes pre and post testing.

Terms Of Employment

• Availability for the duration of the program from September 2026 to June 2027
• Option #1: Saturday morning assignment from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm
• Option #2: Evening assignment two nights per week 5:30 to 9 pm
• Multiple Positions Available. Sites include MCST- Denville Campus, Dover Middle School & Morristown High School
