EMERGENCE ACADEMY within Springfield Public Schools in Springfield, MA is seeking an ESL Teacher to join the SEZP collaboration. The role offers a full-time start on August 10, 2026, with a base salary up to $96,864.45, commensurate with experience.

The educator will deliver standards-aligned instruction, support diverse learners, and participate in team collaboration with families and colleagues to foster belonging and academic growth.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching at the middle/high school level.
• Massachusetts DESE educator license required; waivers may apply.
• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction using research-based curriculum and effective instructional strategies.
• Provide supports to ensure all students access grade-level content through thoughtful lesson design and scaffolding.
• Use data and formative assessment to adjust instruction and promote academic growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues and families to support student belonging and success.
