Job summary

Morris County Vocational School District is seeking NJ State Licensed Teachers to develop and facilitate lessons for English Language skills. This grant-funded program aims to provide free instruction for students ages 16 and older. Candidates must have teaching experience, preferably ESL, and be comfortable using technology. There are multiple positions available with flexible hours, including Saturday mornings and weekday evenings, at sites such as MCST- Denville Campus and Morristown High School.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be a NJ State Licensed Teacher at the elementary or secondary level.
• Teaching experience required; ESL teaching experience preferred.
• Comfortable and willing to utilize technology in the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Develop and facilitate lessons that incorporate reading, listening, and speaking activities.
• Develop and facilitate lessons that incorporate community, civics, and employment topics.
• Strict attention is given to attendance and student outcomes.

Terms Of Employment

• Availability for the duration of the program from September to June
• Option #1: Saturday morning assignment from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm
• Option #2: Evening assignment two nights per week 5:30 to 9 pm
• Multiple Positions Available. Sites include MCST- Denville Campus and Morristown High School
