Job summary

Vishay Dale Electronics in Columbus, NE is seeking an ESI Operator for the 1st shift (Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm). Overtime is available as needed.

Responsibilities include cleaning contacts, performing quality tests, operating the ESI machine, recording production data, and ensuring proper documentation.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; ability to read, write, and perform arithmetic; prior production experience is desirable.

• Performs other duties as assigned by area supervisor.

Job Title and Shift

ESI Operator – 1st Shift (Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm). Overtime is available as needed.

Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE is one of the world's largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology. There are around 600 employees currently working in Columbus, NE. We are one of the largest employers in the Columbus Area.

Responsibilities

• Cleans machine contacts before operation.
• Performs quality test requirements or confirms the machine has passed the test requirements.
• Operates ESI machine according to proper DES.
• Records information as required on the production traveler and enters information into prod-info computer.
• Checks production traveler to make sure previous steps have been done and proper documentation has been filled out before sending on to the next operation.
• Maintains clean and orderly appearance in the ESI and staging area.
• Performs other duties as assigned by area supervisor.
• Uses ESI equipment, pushcarts and occasionally small hand tools.
