Job summary

Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE is seeking an ESI Operator on 1st Shift (Mon-Fri, 7:00am–3:30pm). The role involves operating the ESI machine, performing quality checks and maintaining proper documentation to meet production requirements.

Overtime is available as needed. You should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, the ability to read, write and perform arithmetic, and prior production experience is desirable.

• Prior production experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Cleans machine contacts before operation. Performs quality test requirements or confirms the machine has passed the test requirements.
• Operates ESI machine according to proper DES.
• Records information as required on the production traveler and enters information into prod-info computer.
• Checks production traveler to make sure previous steps have been done and proper documentation has been filled out before sending on to the next operation.
• Maintains clean and orderly appearance in the ESI and staging area
• Perform other duties as assigned by area supervisor.
• Equipment Utilization: Uses ESI equipment, pushcarts and occasionally small hand tools.

Overtime is available as needed. Responsible for producing Vishay products that meet and exceed quality and customer expectations.
