Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. is seeking a Wirewound Utility Operator for the Columbus, NE plant.

The role involves performing varied machine operations on a 1st shift (Mon-Thu, 5:00am-3:30pm) with overtime as needed, ensuring parts meet specifications, and handling print and coating tasks. The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma, 3 months to 1 year of machinery experience, and the ability to interpret specifications, stand for long periods, and lift up to 20 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Three months to one year of experience operating machinery and equipment.
• Ability to accurately interpret specifications.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Ability to handle and lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Fill in at several operations as needed due to workload, vacations, or sick leave (printing, coating, tinning).
• Receive order from material handler; ensure print stamp is correct and parts printed per spec.
• Coat order on appropriate coater as directed by specification.
• Tin and wash parts per specifications.
• Complete and sign necessary paperwork.
• Clean machines and work area as necessary.

Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE is currently seeking applicants for an Wirewound Utility Operator on 1st Shift (Monday - Thursday, 5:00am - 3:30pm).Overtime is available as needed. Responsible for producing Vishay products that meet and exceed quality and customer expectations.

What you will be doing:
