Job summary

Terracon is seeking an Environmental/Sustainability Consultant to support clients in developing and advancing ESG programs. You will lead projects on GHG inventories, carbon accounting, and sustainability reporting, coordinating data management and stakeholder communication.

The role requires a strong background in ESG frameworks, data analysis, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to set goals, track progress, and drive decarbonization efforts across client organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 3+ years of experience or 7+ years without degree.
• Strong knowledge of the GHG Protocol and emissions inventories (Scope 1, 2, 3).
• Familiarity with CDP, GRI, CSRD/ESRS, ISSB, SASB or TCFD frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Support ESG and sustainability programs for clients.
• Lead projects on GHG inventories and carbon accounting.
• Manage ESG data and prepare sustainability disclosures.
• Contribute to climate strategy, decarbonization, and reporting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Ensure data quality and apply ESG standards across projects.
• Assist with development of client proposals and meetings.
