Job summary

Charter Schools USA is seeking an ESE Teacher to collaborate with parents, students, and regular education teachers to promote student achievement in alignment with the school's mission of Strong Minds, Good Hearts.

You will manage IEPs, collect progress data, and support inclusion as part of a team dedicated to meeting diverse student needs in accordance with Federal and State regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (or equivalent).
• State Certification in Special Education and HQ status in the assigned grades/areas.
• Criminal and employment background checks cleared.
• Ability to collaborate with Regular Education teachers, parents and students.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and conduct parent/student conferences.
• Deliver instruction in modalities used by the school (incl. direct/synchronous instruction, life skills support, inclusion activities).
• Collect data and samples of student work for progress tracking.
• Assist in planning and implementing IEPs and progress monitoring.
• Provide support for inclusionary practices and training for staff.
• Maintain compliance with Federal and State regulations and testing protocols.
