Job summary

Easterseals Florida seeks an Exceptional Student Education Teacher Assistant for The School for Limitless Learning for the 2025-2026 school year. The role offers a full-time school-year schedule at 37.5 hours per week with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour in a private school serving neurodiverse children.

Responsibilities include creating an inclusive learning environment, designing age-appropriate activities, supervising children, and maintaining strong communication with families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (preferred, not required).
• Florida Staff Credential options include FCCPC, ECPC, CDA/NECC, or an Associate's in ECE/Child Development.
• CPR and First Aid certification current.

Responsibilities

• Provide a positive, safe, stimulating, and inclusionary learning environment.
• Design and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
• Provide constant supervision to ensure safety and well-being of each child.
• Maintain open communication with parents and families.
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to promote a positive team environment.
• Screen and assess children to determine developmental and educational needs.
