Orange County Public Schools seeks a dedicated staff member to provide support for students with disabilities under the direction of Exceptional Student Education teachers or a supervisor. The role includes monitoring student behavior, assisting with instruction, generating and maintaining records, and communicating with parents and staff in a dynamic school setting.

• Associate degree or higher or sixty (60) semester hours from a accredited institution required; official transcripts may be required.
• Passing a third‑party paraprofessional certification exam (ParaPro) can substitute for the educational requirement.
• Requires demonstrated administrative support skills and ability to communicate program goals and objectives.

Responsabilidades

• Responds to internal and external customers in a timely and empathetic manner, representing OCPS positively.
• Provides assistance and support in an assigned functional program.
• Assist in maintaining attendance and student records and distributing reports.
• Monitors student behavior during activities to ensure safety and discipline.
• Assists teachers with development and implementation of program curriculum and assessments.
• Maintains and stores equipment, supplies, and materials related to the program.
