Job summary

The School District of Lee County seeks an Instructional Support paraprofessional (ESE) for San Carlos Park Elementary School in Fort Myers, Florida. This role supports classroom instruction under the supervision of certified staff and aids in implementing individualized education plans.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent with ParaPro exam, or 60 college credits/Associate’s degree. Strong communication, privacy law knowledge, and ability to assist students and families

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with passing ParaPro exam.
• Or 60 credit hours or an Associate's degree.
• Knowledge of privacy laws (HIPAA, FERPA, Sunshine).
• Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to respond to customer needs and provide assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist instructional process with students individually or in small groups under supervision.
• Prepare and organize instructional aids, materials, and technology.
• Reinforce positive learning and behavior with students.
• Support parental involvement activities and confidentiality requirements.
• Perform related clerical and recordkeeping duties as directed.
