Sarasota County Schools in Englewood, Florida is seeking an ESE Aide to support students with special needs under the supervision of certified staff. Responsibilities include implementing instructional activities, assisting with personal care, and maintaining a safe, respectful classroom environment.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, and may require 40 hours of autism-related training and/or ASD certification by the end of the probationary period, CPI training, and passing

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; ASD training may be required.
• Must complete 40 hours of ASD training/workshops by end of probation period.
• Must complete CPI training within probation.
• Passing score on the Para Pro Assessment Test or AA/AS degree or 60-hour equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Assist in supervision of students and school-wide tasks as assigned.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene (diapering, toileting, feeding, medical tasks).
• Prepare and maintain instructional materials; assist with records and data collection.
• Communicate effectively with staff and families; support behavioral management and safe learning environment.
