Job summary

First American in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Escrow Support Processor to provide a wide range of support to Escrow Processors and Escrow Officers. You may work on escrow openings and closings, set up escrow files, prepare correspondence, and handle fund disbursements and closing statements.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years escrow processing experience with strong verbal and written communication.

Provides centralized clerical processing of all documents connected with the initiation or closing of escrows, relieving branches of high volume paperwork. Communicates information and instructions to escrow branches, but not to customers.**What You'll Do:*** Provide a wide range of support to a team of Escrow Support Processors and Escrow Officers.* Perform work that is very similar to associate level, although tasks may be slightly more complex with greater experience and knowledge.* May work on escrow openings and closings.* Perform clerical functions to set up (open) escrow files.* Prepare correspondence, escrow files and orders preliminary title reports.* Perform fund disbursements.* Prepare and deliver closing statements and closing letters.* Schedule and provide instructions to couriers.* Order payoffs, liens, homeowner association documents and evidence of insurance.* Distribute preliminary report.* Communicate with branches, as needed.* Follow functional area’s processes and procedures in daily activities; Troubleshoot as needed.* Actively contribute to the results of a team and works toward achieving goals and objectives.**What You'll Bring:*** Must be able to follow Escrow Procedures and have awareness of regulations governing escrow process* Working knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of department/field* Good verbal and written communication skills* Establishes effective working relationships at the work group level* High school diploma or equivalent* 1-2 years escrow processing experiencePay Range: $18.46 - $24.63 HourlyThis hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.
