First American Title - Ohio is seeking an Escrow Officer to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused setting and deliver accurate, compliant closings. This role emphasizes relationship management and sound decision-making for residential and commercial transactions.

You will open and oversee escrow accounts, coordinate closing documents, and liaise with buyers, sellers, lenders, and attorneys to move transactions forward with proactive communication and risk awareness.

Responsibilities

• Open, manage, and oversee escrow accounts for residential and commercial transactions.
• Ensure the accurate handling, safeguarding, and disbursement of escrow funds.
• Prepare, review, and execute closing documents from file open through settlement.
• Serve as a trusted liaison between buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, and attorneys.
• Drive transactions forward while maintaining clear, proactive communication with all parties.
• Ensure full compliance with company policies, state regulations, and industry standards.
• Identify and mitigate risk to protect clients and ensure smooth closings.
