Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Follow Escrow Accounting guidelines for funds collection and disbursement.
  • Review escrow QA reports and resolve issues to ensure policy compliance.
  • Ensure timely information flow between settlement, recording, and accounting teams.

Acts as liaison between all parties to the transaction including homebuyer, seller, mortgage, accounting and other areas within the Title & Escrow Process.**Primary Job Responsibilities*** Handle all aspects of the settlement transactions including preparation and approval of Settlement Statements, preparation and coordination of deeds, verify accuracy of loan documents, insurance documentation, seller statements, and contract or sales agreement.* Obtain signatures for closing transactions, explain all documents executed as needed, and facilitate questions/answers between parties to the transaction.* Follow Escrow Accounting Business Practice Guidelines which includes but is not limited to collection and disbursement of funds while complying with required State and Federal Good Funds statutes.* Review escrow quality assurance reports and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure compliance with required business policy.* Ensure timely and accurate flow of information and documentation from settlement team to Recording and Accounting Departments* Correct and resolve any post-closing issues that arise.* Ensure adherence to workflow processes.* Perform other duties as assigned.**Management Responsibilities*** Not applicable**Scope*** Decision Impact: Individual* Department Responsibility: None* Budgetary Responsibility: No* Direct Reports: No* Indirect Reports: No* Physical Requirements: Ability to exert minimal force of 25 pounds to carry, lift, push, pull and otherwise move objects.
