Job summary

PGP Title is seeking an Escrow Officer in Bloomington, MN to manage settlement operations for real estate transactions. You will liaise with homebuyers, sellers, lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate, on-time closings.

This role requires 1–3 years of Escrow Officer experience, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Office-based commitment five days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all aspects of settlement transactions including preparation and approval of Settlement Statements and deeds.
  • Obtain signatures for closing transactions and explain documents to parties.
  • Follow Escrow Accounting guidelines including collection and disbursement of funds.
  • Review escrow quality assurance reports and resolve issues for policy compliance.
  • Ensure timely flow of information to Recording and Accounting departments.
  • Address post-closing issues and ensure workflow adherence.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

This position is 100% in office Monday - Friday in Bloomington, MN. NO BOOK OF BUSINESS NEEDED!

Job Summary

The Escrow Officer is primarily responsible for performing tasks related to settlement operations in the closing of real estate transactions. Acts as liaison between all parties to the transaction including homebuyer, seller, mortgage, accounting and other areas within the Title & Escrow Process.

Primary Job Responsibilities
  • Handle all aspects of the settlement transactions including preparation and approval of Settlement Statements, preparation and coordination of deeds, verify accuracy of loan documents, insurance documentation, seller statements, and contract or sales agreement.
  • Obtain signatures for closing transactions, explain all documents executed as needed, and facilitate questions/answers between parties to the transaction.
  • Follow Escrow Accounting Business Practice Guidelines which includes but is not limited to collection and disbursement of funds while complying with required State and Federal Good Funds statutes.
  • Review escrow quality assurance reports and resolve any outstanding issues to ensure compliance with required business policy.
  • Ensure timely and accurate flow of information and documentation from settlement team to Recording and Accounting Departments.
  • Correct and resolve any post-closing issues that arise.
  • Ensure adherence to workflow processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Scope

Decision Impact: Individual Department Responsibility: None Budgetary Responsibility: No Direct Reports: No Indirect Reports: No Physical Requirements: Ability to exert minimal force of 25 pounds to carry, lift, push, pull and otherwise move objects. On occasions, may have to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.

Required Education/Experience

Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 1-3 years Escrow Officer/Assistant Escrow Officer experience.

Required Licensing, Registration and/or Certifications

Licensing requirements as required by State/Federal Agencies. Notary Public license requirements as required by State.

Required Skills/Knowledge
  • Customer service skills with experience engaging with diverse homebuyer demographics.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle fast paced and demanding work environment.
  • Effective follow up skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adjust well to change.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across dispersed teams in multiple locations.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
  • Experience with OneNote and SoftPro is a plus.
  • Demonstrates effective collaboration skills to promote teamwork and communication among various departments and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates proactive initiative and self-motivation to drive tasks and projects forward independently.
  • Exhibits exceptional time management and prioritization skills to efficiently meet deadlines and optimize task workflows.
Salary Range

$26.06 to $32.60 hourly depending upon experience. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus based on the successful completion of defined performance objectives.

Additional Information
