Job summary

The Escrow Officer role at First National Title Insurance Company is based on-site in Wimberley, TX, where you will manage residential escrow transactions from opening to closing and coordinate with buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, and others to ensure smooth closings.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing escrow transactions and familiarity with escrow procedures and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in coordinating and conducting real estate closings, including preparation and review of settlement statements.
  • Current Notary Public commission (or ability to obtain) and practical experience notarizing real estate documents.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and handle sensitive situations professionally.
  • Knowledge of residential real estate practices, documents, and terminology, including working with agents, lenders, and title requirements.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and accuracy in handling funds and documentation.
  • Comfort with title/escrow software and general computer skills; ability to learn new systems and follow established workflows.
  • Previous experience as an Escrow Officer, Escrow Assistant, or in title insurance or real estate is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certification in real estate, title, or finance is beneficial.

Role Description The Escrow Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Wimberley, TX, responsible for managing residential real estate escrow transactions from opening to closing.
