Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; take continuing education courses as required.
- At least 5+ years escrow experience, both front- and back-end experience.
- Certification: Notary public and escrow officer licenses.
- Industry awareness: Technical knowledge of closing process.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong written and verbal skills to keep agents, buyers, sellers, and all other parties up to date with the process and work with them to resolve issues.
- Existing client base, referral network, or established industry relationships.
- Experience growing escrow volume through business development and relationship management.
- Experience managing a high-volume escrow desk.
- About 15-30K of a revenue a month on their revenue desk
Job Description
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Manage residential escrow transactions from opening through closing, ensuring all milestones, documentation, funding requirements, and deadlines are completed accurately and on time.
- Review contracts, escrow instructions, title reports, and loan documentation to verify compliance and transaction readiness.
- Coordinate buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, attorneys, surveyors, title personnel, and other stakeholders throughout the closing process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with real estate agents, brokers, lenders, builders, and other referral partners.
- Identify and resolve title, funding, documentation, or closing issues to prevent delays and ensure a seamless transaction experience.
- Generate new escrow opportunities through networking, relationship-building, client engagement, and exceptional customer service.
- Support and mentor escrow assistants by delegating work, answering questions, auditing files, and creating opportunities for professional growth.
- Deliver a positive closing experience while consistently contributing to escrow volume growth, client retention, and revenue goals.

You’re there in the middle, ensuring that all the associated paperwork is completed efficiently and accurately. You’re working with agents and their clients to keep the process moving forward, verifying that titles are clean, taxes are paid, and loans are funded. Finally, you’re there at the end, to assure that no funds or property will change hands until all terms have been carried to completion.
