Job summary

Edina Realty Title in Faribault, MN is looking for an Escrow Closer to join our busy closing center. This in-office role runs Monday–Friday 8 am–5 pm and supports buyers and sellers through the closing process.

You will prepare documents, review title evidence, verify balances, and coordinate with lenders to ensure a smooth closing. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of closing experience and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Two years processing or closing experience required.
• Marketing and sales skills preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• The ability to work as a member in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently under deadline pressure.
• High degree of integrity, self-motivated, organized, detail oriented, and possess a strong aptitude for figures.
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit closed loan package, deposits and disbursement documentation, recording package and final policy package.
• Respond promptly to any returned or rejected mortgage or recording packages and assist lender.
• Prepare transferring and mortgage documentation, HUD Settlement Statements and other required documents.
• Conduct the closing including explanation of all related documents and closing costs.
• Examine title evidence for defects and take necessary action to correct title defects.
• Ensure title issues are resolved prior to closing.
• Perform any additional responsibilities as requested or assigned.
