Job summary

Edina Realty Title in Faribault, MN is seeking an Escrow Closer to join our busy closing center. This in‑office role runs Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, coordinating with buyers and sellers to prepare and execute closing documents and balances.

You will monitor transactions for completeness, review payoff and title evidence, and maintain accuracy to ensure smooth closings and lender satisfaction. Requires at least two years closing experience and strong transactional skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Two years processing or closing experience required.
• Marketing and sales skills preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work as a team member.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks under deadlines.
• High integrity, self-motivated, organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit closed loan package, deposits and disbursement documentation and final package to the appropriate department or entities.
• Respond promptly to any returned or rejected mortgage or recording packages.
• Prepare transferring and mortgage documentation, HUD Settlement Statements and other required documents.
• Conduct the closing and explain all related documents and closing costs.
• Examine title evidence for defects and take action to correct them.
• Ensure that title issues are resolved prior to closing.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
