Best Homes Title Agency, LLC in Michigan is seeking an Escrow Assistant to pre-process incoming files and provide administrative support to Escrow Processors, handling documents, client communications, and closing logistics.

The ideal candidate brings strong communication, organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail, with 1+ year in the Title Insurance industry preferred. This is an in-office role supporting a professional team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
• 1+ years of Title Insurance industry experience required; 2-3+ years preferred.
• Experience working with Resware, Qualia, or other industry software preferred.
• Ability to navigate multiple internal systems and demonstrate strong computer skills is required.
• Ability to serve as a role model by maintaining high-quality customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Process title commitments, clear Schedule C requirements, review tax certificates, and verify HOA fees.
• Prepare escrow instructions, organize closing packages, and assist with pre-processing tasks.
• Monitor file statuses and work cross-functionally with Title and Escrow departments to ensure timely processing.
• Serve as the first point of contact for clients, agents, and lenders via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Demonstrate strong professionalism and communication by contacting clients to retrieve missing data, resolve order discrepancies, or request additional documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service to our clients and internal staff members.
• Complete all other administrative duties as assigned by Supervisor(s).
