Job summary

First American is seeking an Escrow Assistant in Cody, WY to support our escrow team with administrative tasks and customer interaction. You will open orders, prepare closing documents, manage disbursements, and help ensure accurate, timely closings.

We value a detail-oriented, proactive professional who can communicate effectively with customers and internal teams. A high school diploma is required, with 2+ years of escrow-related experience preferred.

  • Interpret various escrow agreements as they relate to closings.

Join First American in Cody, WY where we believe our greatest asset is our people. We are looking to add an Escrow Assistant to our growing team. In this role, you’ll work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, providing critical administrative and customer support to our Escrow team. This position plays a key role in helping make the dream of homeownership a reality. We’re seeking someone with the drive and potential to grow—an individual looking for a long-term career path at First American and eager to learn, contribute, and advance within our organization. This role is in office 5 x week.

What You’ll Do
  • Assist in the escrow process, such as opening orders, inputting closing statement information, preparing documents for closing, handling the complete disbursement and follow-up
  • Communicate regularly with customers during the escrow process flow
  • Interpret various agreements as they relate to escrow closings
  • Working with a variety of technologies to enable escrow transactions, assisting customers to ensure a phenomenal customer experience

  • 2+ years of escrow-related experience preferred

Pay Range: $16.63 - $22.18 Hourly

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
