Job summary

Breakout Operations LLC is seeking a friendly Game Master to welcome guests, guide them through exciting escape room experiences, and maintain a high-energy environment. You will run games, provide helpful clues, and celebrate wins with groups, helping create lasting memories.

The role emphasizes strong communication, puzzle enthusiasm, and reliability, with weekend availability required. Training and development opportunities are offered as part of Breakout's benefits.

Qualifications

• Love puzzles, riddles, and/or escape rooms.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills (clear speaking and listening).
• Basic technology skills (computer use, emailing).
• Dependable and respectful.
• Weekend availability (Saturday & Sunday).
• Ability to sit for extended periods and focus for up to an hour.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs., reach, squat, kneel, climb a ladder, etc.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and give an exciting introduction to their experience.
• Run games for guests and provide helpful clues when asked.
• Celebrate wins with guests and maintain a positive attitude regardless of escape outcomes.
• Help create lasting memories with groups and reset rooms for the next guests.
• Speak with guests in-person and over the phone.
• Perform other day-to-day tasks as directed by the General Manager.

As a Game Master you'll

• Celebrate wins with guests and remain positive and encouraging regardless of their escape success
• Help to create lasting memories with groups
• Reset rooms for the next escape artists
• Speak with guests in-person and over the phone
• Perform other day-to-day functions as directed by the General Manager
