Job summary

The Intrepid Group is seeking an Environmental, Safety & Health Manager to lead all EHS programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and a proactive safety culture across sites. You will provide strategic and operational guidance on hazard prevention, training, emergency preparedness, workers' compensation, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include maintaining SOPs, audits, regulatory inspections, incident reporting, risk assessments, and driving performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of Environmental, Safety & Health (ESH) management experience.
• Minimum of four (4) consecutive years of supervisory experience in the field of ESH.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily guidance in Environmental, Health, and Safety programs at all levels to ensure a consistent site-wide safety approach.
• Maintain and update SOPs for safe work practices and equipment; utilize SOPs in daily operations and employee training.
• Coordinate regulatory inspections and ensure deficiencies are minimized, corrected, and documented in a timely manner.
• Assist in maintaining Emergency Response Team and site preparedness initiatives; manage emergency response plans.
• Develop controls for identified workplace hazards and coordinate implementation of corrective and preventive measures.
• Lead and support safety training programs, toolbox talks, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Monitor, revise, and implement updates related to safety regulations and reporting requirements.
