Job summary

Bechtel is seeking an ES&H Oversight Specialist for the Thacker Pass project in Nevada. You will inspect field execution, enforce safety requirements, and work with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure ES&H compliance. Daily surveillance and PPE checks are part of the role.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 5–8 years of relevant experience in ES&H, OSHA knowledge, and proven incident investigations capabilities; relocation is negotiable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5–8 years of relevant ES&H experience.
• Experience in ES&H assessments/inspection during construction.
• Knowledge of OSHA 1926/1910 and Bechtel ESH core processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ES&H disciplines to implement Bechtel's program.
• Deliver toolbox talks and advise project teams on safety.
• Develop and maintain programs for safety and environmental protection.
• Maintain ES&H databases and perform trend analysis.
• Lead risk assessments, mitigation, and incident investigations.
