Job summary

Bechtel is seeking an Environmental Safety & Health (ES&H) Field Lead for a long-term assignment in Fairbanks Township, IN. You will implement Bechtel's ES&H program on a 640MW natural gas fired power project, coordinating with project teams to ensure compliance with regulatory and Bechtel requirements.

The role requires extensive field experience, leadership of ES&H professionals, and strong communication skills to support multiple shifts and project activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental, safety, health or science-related discipline and 8–10 years of relevant experience or 12–14 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates ES&H disciplines to implement Bechtel's ES&H program and ES&H Management System.
• Assists in developing and maintaining programs for employee safety and environmental protection.
• Maintains ES&H databases including incident events, audits, and corrective actions.
• Performs statistical analysis of ES&H data to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Leads in risk assessments, studies, mitigation planning, and ES&H issue investigations.
