Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking an Environmental, Safety & Health Director to proactively plan, direct, and implement the ESH program across multi-site construction projects. The role partners with executive leadership to promote a strong safety culture and regulatory compliance.

The Director will lead incident investigations, drive preventive programs, and ensure OSHA and other regulations are met while supporting field operations through travel to multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading safety programs in commercial construction projects.
• Knowledge of construction safety regulations and risk management.
• Ability to develop and implement safety strategies and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Direct and implement the ESH program across projects, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
• Lead safety teams; drive root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate with executives and field personnel to foster a proactive safety culture.
• Lead incident investigations and prepare monthly safety reports for management.
