Job summary

Borusan Pipe U.S., Inc. seeks an ERW Mill Manager to translate the production plan into safe, consistent daily execution across the ERW pipe mill.

You will own the operating rhythm for all shifts and drive schedule attainment, throughput, yield, OEE, and frontline leadership across Operations, Tooling, and Quality. This role partners with Maintenance, Engineering, Planning, and Finance, reporting to the Director, Mill Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 7-10+ years of progressive manufacturing experience in ERW pipe or similar heavy manufacturing with leadership responsibility.
• Knowledge of ERW forming, welding, sizing, cutoff, end finishing, hydrotest or inspection interfaces, tooling, product flow, and process controls.
• Working knowledge of API, ASTM, ISO, ASME, customer-specific, traceability, inspection, and conformance requirements.
• Proven ability to lead supervisors, leads, technical resources, and frontline teams across a multi-shift environment.
• Demonstrated use of daily operating KPIs including safety, schedule attainment, throughput, OEE, uptime, yield, scrap, and labor productivity.
• Applied Lean manufacturing methods: 5S, visual management, standard work, Kaizen, setup reduction, problem solving.
• Strong capability in production scheduling, labor deployment, shift handoffs, and downtime escalation.
• Effective coach and communicator collaborating across functions.

Responsibilities

• Own the ERW Mill daily operating rhythm and translate production plans into shift priorities and staffing.
• Lead Operations, Tooling, and Quality Supervisors with clear expectations and accountability.
• Ensure schedules, work orders, materials, tooling, and readiness align before execution.
• Review mill performance daily and escalate material risks with clear ownership.
