Job summary

You will liaise with Plant Supervisors and other departments to optimize workflows and adhere to company policies. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and experience in production planning or inventory control, plus strong Excel and office skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent requirement; exposure to production planning and inventory control preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software applications.
• Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and discretion with confidential information.
• Ability to coordinate last-minute project-based work details.

Responsibilities

• Authenticates analytical data to ensure accuracy prior to closing production orders.
• Directs and coordinates the daily operations of the MES functions for facility operations.
• Serves as key user in the design, implementation, and development of the MES program.
• Maintains MES inventory data accuracy.
• Communicates production schedule with Plant Supervisors and Managers.
• Liaises between departments to communicate production needs.
• Assists in evaluating MES data and daily production/operational scheduler reports.
• Ensures products run according to policies and procedures.
• Communicates schedule changes within departments based on WIP and MES reporting.
• Interprets MES data for validity and corrects data reporting errors.
• Maintains MES master data (users, shifts, etc.).
• Prepares production process orders with required approvals 24 hours before WO start time.
• Organizes yard activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
