Job summary

PPG Industries in Circleville, OH, is seeking an Energy Recovery Operations Lead to oversee shift personnel and operate the ERU kiln and related systems onsite at the Circleville plant. You will ensure safety, efficiency, and adherence to ERU policies while providing technical leadership to the team.

The role reports to the Manager Energy Recovery Unit and includes rotating shifts with comprehensive benefits such as Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) matching, and Paid Vacation/holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Boiler operator’s license from the State of Ohio (or ability to obtain).
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in plant maintenance, production, or related fields.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage shift personnel to ensure safe and efficient operations of the ERU kiln and related systems.
• Oversee material handling, inventory control, incineration, and steam generation processes.
• Implement ERU policies, resolve conflicts, and provide leadership to the shift team.
• Be the technical resource to support ERU personnel.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
