Job summary

Bulk Equipment Corp. in the U.S. Midwest seeks a long-term ERP Systems Administrator / Technical Analyst to support NetSuite, ManagerPlus, Shopify, and API integrations. This hybrid role blends systems administration, business systems, and user support, not a pure programming position.

You will troubleshoot, optimize processes, and develop light automations while collaborating with finance, operations, and ecommerce teams. No remote-only work; centered on US business hours.

Qualifications

We are a growing U.S.-based equipment and services company looking for a long-term ERP Systems Administrator / Technical Analyst to support our business systems and users.

Our primary systems include Oracle NetSuite, ManagerPlus (M+), Shopify and system integrations/APIs.

This is a hybrid systems administration + business systems + technical support role. It is NOT a virtual assistant position and is NOT purely a programming role.

We are looking for someone who enjoys figuring out how systems work, troubleshooting problems, supporting users, improving processes and doing light development/automation when needed.

What You Will Do

NetSuite Administration

• Provide day-to-day NetSuite user and administrative support
• Manage forms, fields, custom records, roles and permissions
• Create and maintain saved searches, reports, dashboards and KPIs
• Support workflows / SuiteFlow
• Assist with imports, data cleanup and master-data maintenance
• Troubleshoot transaction, configuration and user issues

Integration & Systems Support

• Monitor and troubleshoot integrations between NetSuite, Shopify, ManagerPlus and other applications
• Investigate failed or incorrect data synchronization
• Review logs and error messages and identify root causes
• Troubleshoot APIs, data mappings and integration processes
• Test system changes and integrations before deployment
• Coordinate with developers when more complex programming is required

Technical / Development

• Create or modify basic SuiteScript / JavaScript where appropriate
• Work with REST APIs, JSON and web services
• Build simple automations and workflows
• Understand existing scripts sufficiently to troubleshoot problems and make minor changes
• Assist with testing and documenting more complex development performed by other developers

User Support & Adoption

• Work directly with Finance, Operations, Purchasing, Service and Ecommerce users
• Help users understand and correctly use the systems
• Troubleshoot user-reported problems
• Create clear process and system documentation
• Help develop training materials
• Identify repetitive manual processes that can be automated
• Help us improve system adoption and standardization

Required Skills

• Hands-on NetSuite administration experience
• Saved Searches and reporting

• Strong ERP troubleshooting skills
• Understanding of common ERP processes such as purchasing, sales orders, inventory and accounting
• Experience working with system integrations
• Basic understanding of APIs, REST, JSON and data mapping
• Ability to read and understand JavaScript or similar programming
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Strong written and spoken English

Preferred Skills

• SuiteScript 2.x / JavaScript
• Shopify
• Celigo or another integration/iPaaS platform
• SuiteAnalytics / SQL
• API integration experience
• Experience with CMMS, work-order, field-service or equipment-management systems

ManagerPlus experience is NOT required. We will train the right person on this system.

Who Will Be Successful

We want someone who takes ownership of problems.

If a user says:

“This order did not transfer correctly from one system to another.”

We want you to be able to investigate the transaction, check the configuration and integration, review the logs, determine where it failed, fix what you can, and clearly explain what needs to happen next.

You should be comfortable moving between business users, ERP administration, data, integrations and code.

You do not need to be a senior software engineer, but you must be technically curious and willing to investigate problems rather than immediately escalating them.
