Job summary
KBR is seeking an Enterprise Application Support Technician to join our Corporate Enterprise Systems Team in Houston. You will be the primary front-line support contact for core financial and operational systems, including Deltek Costpoint and related tools, handling ticket queues and cross-training with senior engineers.
The role offers growth into enterprise administration or system architecture, with opportunities to work on data integration diagnostics and ERP upgrade activities.
Qualifications
- BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent technical experience.
- 2+ years of IT support or application administration experience.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose complex software or system integration issues.
- Experience supporting enterprise-grade applications or ERP systems (Deltek Costpoint highly preferred).
- Foundational understanding of data structures, SQL querying, or API concepts.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary front-line support contact and queue manager for the enterprise systems team.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application-level issues and access requests.
- Perform root-cause analysis to isolate issues across network, database, and application layers.
- Monitor system interfaces, jobs, and data pipelines to identify failures early.
- Assist with ERP upgrades, SaaS readiness, and system release management.
- Coordinate with developers and infra teams to deploy integrations and automation.
