Bolden Technology Group is seeking a highly experienced ERP Subject Matter Expert, on a corp-to-corp contract basis, to support a municipal government’s transition to a new Enterprise Resource Planning system. This role is a chance to apply deep public sector ERP expertise to a full implementation, from configuration and data conversion through go-live and the first fiscal year-end close. You’ll be named as key personnel in our proposal and, upon contract award, will work alongside our project team to deliver a system that strengthens the city’s financial, procurement, and workforce operations.
Duties
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert for one or more functional areas: financial management, procurement and contract management, or human resources and payroll.
- Lead analysis and configuration of ERP modules to meet public sector business requirements.
- Engage stakeholders to gather business needs and translate them into system configuration and specifications.
- Support data migration from a legacy CGI Advantage 4.0 environment, including extraction, cleansing, mapping, loading, validation, and reconciliation of financial, procurement, HR, and payroll data.
- Support development and testing of interfaces with financial institutions, benefit providers, State and Federal reporting systems, and other city applications.
- Support unit, system, integration, conversion, and user acceptance testing, including parallel payroll processing before go-live.
- Deliver role-based training for end users, functional administrators, and technical staff, and contribute to training materials and system documentation.
- Support go-live and cutover with no interruption to payroll, financial reporting, or essential city operations.
- Provide post-go-live support through the first fiscal year-end close and first calendar year-end payroll and tax reporting cycle.
Requirements
- 10+ years of ERP implementation experience in public sector finance, procurement, or HR/payroll.
- Proven experience with full-lifecycle ERP implementations in government environments.
- Hands-on experience with data conversion, reconciliation, and system testing, including parallel payroll.
- Strong knowledge of public sector accounting, procurement, and payroll processes.
- Experience with CGI Advantage, or migrating off it, is a strong plus.
- Experience designing and delivering end-user training and documentation.
- Strong communication skills and comfort presenting in a live, recorded software demonstration.
- Must contract through your own registered business entity (LLC, S-Corp, or C-Corp); or 1099 individual arrangements.
- Must provide a W-9, certificate of good standing, and proof of business insurance on request.
- Must complete E-Verify subcontractor documentation (Georgia O.C.G.A. § 13-10-91).
