Job Description

Job Description

The ERP Coordinator will serve as the primary internal resource for Infor ERP LN administration, user support, data management, and system optimization across the manufacturing facility. This is a hands‑on role that bridges the gap between IT and operations — requiring both strong Infor ERP LN technical proficiency and a practical understanding of how manufacturing, purchasing, inventory, production, and accounting functions interact within the system. The ideal candidate brings at least 2 years of direct Infor ERP LN experience in a heavy manufacturing environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Infor ERP LN Administration & System Management

  • Serve as the facility's primary Infor ERP LN subject matter expert — the first point of contact for system questions, workflow issues, and process troubleshooting across all departments
  • Maintain and administer Infor ERP LN configurations — user roles, security settings, session parameters, and system‑wide settings in coordination with IT and corporate ERP governance
  • Monitor system performance and data integrity — identify and correct errors, duplicate records, orphaned transactions, and data discrepancies before they impact production or financial reporting
  • Manage user account provisioning, deactivation, and role assignment — ensuring appropriate access levels are maintained across all functional areas
  • Support Infor ERP LN upgrades, patches, and system enhancements — coordinate testing, user acceptance, and training activities during system changes

Production & Manufacturing Operations Support

  • Support production order management within Infor ERP LN — creation, release, routing confirmations, and labor/material transaction processing
  • Maintain item master data, bills of material (BOMs), routings, and work center configurations — ensuring accuracy across engineering, production, and costing functions
  • Oversee shop floor transaction integrity — monitor and correct labor reporting, machine time entry, material issues, and job closing transactions
  • Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and Quality departments to ensure ERP data reflects actual manufacturing processes, methods, and capacity
  • Support scheduling and capacity planning functions within Infor ERP LN — assist planners in utilizing production planning and MRP modules effectively

Purchasing, Inventory & Warehouse Management

  • Support purchasing department with Infor ERP LN purchase order management, vendor master maintenance, and receiving transaction processing
  • Maintain inventory accuracy — coordinate cycle count programs, investigate and resolve inventory variances, and ensure proper costing of materials
  • Oversee warehouse management transactions in Infor ERP LN — location management, bin assignments, transfer orders, and shipment processing
  • Monitor open purchase orders, back orders, and material shortages — provide visibility reporting to purchasing and production planning teams

Reporting, Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop and maintain standard and custom reports using Infor ERP LN reporting tools — supporting operations, finance, quality, and management with accurate, timely data
  • Identify inefficiencies, manual workarounds, and process gaps in current ERP utilization — recommend and implement improvements that leverage available Infor ERP LN functionality
  • Train new and existing users on Infor ERP LN modules, workflows, and best practices — develop training documentation, job aids, and SOPs for system processes
  • Participate in cross‑functional improvement projects as the ERP subject matter expert — providing system knowledge and data analysis support
  • Maintain documentation of system configurations, customizations, integrations, and process flows to support knowledge continuity

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • 2+ years of direct, hands‑on Infor ERP LN experience is required — this is a hard requirement; general ERP experience or experience with other Infor platforms (M3, CloudSuite, etc.) will not be considered a substitute
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of at least three Infor ERP LN functional modules — production management, purchasing, inventory, warehouse management, finance, or project management
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations — production orders, BOMs, routings, work centers, MRP, and shop floor transaction management
  • Proficiency in Infor ERP LN reporting — standard report management and ability to develop custom queries or reports
  • Strong analytical skills — ability to investigate data discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrections
  • Excellent communication skills — comfortable working directly with shop floor personnel, department managers, and senior leadership

Preferred

  • Heavy manufacturing environment experience — forging, casting, machining, fabrication, or other capital‑intensive industrial production
  • Infor ERP LN certification or formal Infor ERP LN training coursework
  • Experience supporting an Infor ERP LN upgrade or implementation project
  • Familiarity with Infor ERP LN integration points — EDI, financial interfaces, or third‑party system connections
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Manufacturing, or a related field
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel at an intermediate or advanced level — pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data manipulation for ERP reconciliation
