Job description

As the ERP Integrations Architect, you will be the primary techno-functional leader and strategist for integrating Navan Expense with our customer’s ERP systems, external applications, and third-party vendors. Your focus will be on understanding business processes, conducting functional gap analysis during ERP implementations, and designing scalable, secure, and resilient integration solutions that prioritize deep ERP knowledge and data alignment across the customer’s financial, supply chain, and HR functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Solution Strategy & Design: Lead the solution design, planning, and execution of end-to-end integration projects (EAI/ETL) using middleware platforms like MuleSoft, Boomi, or Celigo, specifically in the context of large-scale ERP implementations.
  • Techno-Functional Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert on ERP functionality (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) and translate complex business requirements and "techno-functional" gaps into detailed integration specifications.
  • Integration Governance: Define the integration roadmap, including the selection of appropriate APIs (REST/SOAP) and patterns, ensuring the solution aligns with ERP best practices and maintains a "Single Source of Truth" for critical data.
  • Technical Guidance & Assurance: Provide technical and functional guidance to implementation teams and third-party consultants, ensuring the integrated solution adheres to defined architecture, security standards, and implementation best practices.
  • Optimization & Monitoring: Monitor overall solution performance, identify bottlenecks in data flow between systems, and ensure robust error handling and recovery logic is implemented.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Expense Consultants, Implementation Managers, and Executive Stakeholders to ensure the integration solution successfully meets all business and technical objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience: 7+ years in IT, with 3+ years specifically in a Solutions Architect role focused on ERP Implementations (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
  • Techno-Functional: Deep understanding of core ERP financial, supply chain, and HR modules and their inherent integration capabilities.
  • Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in integration middleware (MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, SnapLogic, Celigo) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) from a strategic solution perspective.
  • Integration Patterns: Deep expertise in modern integration patterns (API-led, Event-Driven, Microservices,SFTP) and data exchange formats (SQL, XML/JSON).
  • Security: Experience with OAuth, SSO, and data encryption standards (GDPR/SOC2 compliance) within an ERP ecosystem.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional ability to explain complex technical solutions to C-suite executives and translate business needs for technical teams.
