Job summary

Steelhead Technologies is hiring a Software Engineer to build and maintain the ERP for metal finishing and fabrication shops. You will own features end-to-end, from requirements and architecture to deployment, with a stack including React, Node.js, TypeScript, Postgres, and GraphQL.

You’ll collaborate with a team of five engineers in Calumet, MI, owning features rather than tickets, and directly shaping AI usage across the development cycle.

Qualifications

• BS in Software Engineering, CS, or related field.
• 0-3 years of post-graduation development experience.
• Proficient in SQL and data model design.
• Experience with React.js or similar web app framework.

Responsibilities

• Collect requirements from multiple sources and lead development of large features.
• Work with tech leads on architecture and data model design.
• Direct the development of large efforts through loops and multiple agents.
• Develop test plans for features and thoroughly test workflows.
• Collaborate with QA to address testing feedback.
• Collect feedback through logs and product metrics.
