Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience.
• 5+ years of BA/ERP Business Analyst experience bridging business processes and technology.
• Experience with Budgeting, Financial Management, Cost Accounting, or FP&A.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• SAP functional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with finance, budgeting, and business leaders to gather and document requirements, processes, workflows, and business rules.
• Analyze and optimize budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation, financial reporting, and period-end close processes.
• Serve as a functional expert in SAP S/4HANA FI, CO, FM, PS, and related financial functionality.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for SAP configuration, enhancements, integrations, and data mapping.
• Collaborate with technical, development, integration, data, and change management teams on end-to-end ERP solutions.
• Support the full ERP lifecycle including planning, design, testing, training, deployment, cutover, go‑live, and hypercare.
• Lead or support SIT/UAT, test case development, defect resolution, data validation, and business readiness.
• Act as a trusted advisor to finance leadership and process owners, communicating system capabilities, impacts, and design decisions.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, data governance, cost transparency, forecasting accuracy, and financial reporting.
• Support ongoing SAP enhancements, production issues, and process optimization.

Overview

The ERP Functional Analyst serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and ERP delivery teams, specializing in Budgeting and Financial Management. This role translates financial business requirements into scalable ERP solutions and supports SAP S/4HANA implementations, enhancements, and optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience required.
• 5+ years of Business Analyst/ERP Business Analyst experience with a focus on bridging business processes and technology.
• Experience with Budgeting, Financial Management, Cost Accounting, or FP&A.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Private Cloud, and/or IBP preferred.
• Experience with SAP implementations, upgrades, or major enhancements preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• SAP functional certification preferred.

• Strong SAP S/4HANA functional knowledge, particularly FI/CO/FM/PS.
• Business process analysis and modeling.
