Job description

PeerSource is currently recruiting for an ERP QA Analyst on a Contract basis. This role is primarily remote but candidate must be based out of Orlando, FL to come onsite periodically. No C2C or third parties please.

Summary

We are seeking an experienced ERP QA Analyst to lead and execute quality assurance efforts across enterprise financial systems. This position is responsible for ensuring software quality through effective planning, execution, and documentation of testing activities, including UAT. The ideal candidate has hands-on ERP testing experience and the ability to work cross-functionally to uphold high standards in performance, reliability, and functionality.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA efforts for assigned projects, including planning, test case development, and execution.
• Coordinate UAT with business stakeholders and manage testing timelines under tight deadlines.
• Develop and maintain detailed test scripts and test coverage plans based on requirements and design documents.
• Execute various testing types including functional, system, integration, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Analyze, document, and escalate defects while tracking quality assurance metrics such as defect counts and test results.
• Perform root cause analysis on critical production issues to support continuous improvement.
• Review functional and technical specifications to ensure comprehensive testing and requirement coverage.
• Conduct QA audits and deliver process training to internal technical teams.
• Collaborate across teams on test planning, code reviews, and issue resolution throughout the SDLC.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software testing experience, with a focus on ERP systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle Financials).
• Experience conducting UAT and writing/executing test cases across multiple testing methods.
• Familiarity with SAP Ariba is a plus.
• Knowledge of stored procedures, jobs, and data warehouse/report testing preferred.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools and cross-functional teams preferred.
