Job summary

The City of Peoria, Arizona is seeking an experienced ERP Product Owner to manage the City’s ERP platform and lead a small, capable systems team. This hands-on leadership role blends strategic planning with practical execution to optimize Workday Financials, Payroll and HCM and to deliver measurable value for HR, Finance, and the broader organization.

The ERP Product Owner will guide the platform roadmap, oversee configuration, security, reporting, upgrades, and future Workday modules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; education equivalency possible with related experience.
• Minimum five years progressive professional experience in system administration, configuration, or business system analysis with at least two years in a leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the ERP platform (Workday) and drive the product roadmap.
• Lead a small team of three analysts providing system support and enhancements across departments.
• Translate organizational needs into effective ERP solutions and ensure platform delivers value.
• Manage configuration, security, integrations, reporting, upgrades and future Workday modules.
• Act as liaison between technology and business operations to support city goals.
