Job summary

Insight Recruitment is seeking a technically strong ERP Business Analyst to join our internal IT team supporting a highly customized ERP environment in the Greater Chicago Area. This hands-on role focuses on ERP optimization, reporting, workflow automation and data validation to improve business processes.

You will partner with stakeholders across the organization to ensure data integrity, enhance visibility and maximize ERP value, with Acumatica experience preferred but open to strong ERP

Qualifications

• 3+ years supporting, administering or configuring an ERP platform.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
• Experience validating data accuracy and troubleshooting reporting or query results.
• Strong understanding of ERP business processes including order management, purchasing, inventory, manufacturing or distribution, shipping and finance.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and business users.

Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain and optimize the organization's ERP platform.
• Design and develop reports, dashboards, Generic Inquiries (or equivalent reporting tools) and data views.
• Build workflow automations, notifications and business process improvements.
• Configure user security, roles and system settings.
• Participate in ERP upgrades, testing and deployment activities.
