Job summary

Elmet Technologies, Inc. in Lewiston, ME seeks a Process Specialist to translate engineering, quality, and manufacturing changes into accurate ERP/MRP data and production routers. You will partner with Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Operations to ensure documentation is controlled and implemented.

The role emphasizes detail, data management, and change-control processes, with opportunities to influence scheduling and production execution in a complex advanced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Experience in manufacturing support, production planning, process documentation, data management, or related roles.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing routing structures.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain manufacturing routers based on approved Engineering, Quality, and production requirements.
• Maintain accurate routing data, including work centers, operation sequences, labor times, instructions, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate and implement approved routing changes within ERP/MRP systems, ensuring accuracy and proper revision control.
• Support ECOs, PCNs, and other change-control activities while maintaining clear, traceable documentation.
• Investigate and resolve routing discrepancies in partnership with process owners and Production.
• Communicate routing and documentation updates across Planning, Scheduling, Production, Quality, and other impacted teams.
