Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Technology, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience supporting ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP implementation, optimization, administration, or business systems management.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, inventory management, purchasing, production planning, and order management.

Responsibilities

• Consults with management to analyze computer system needs for MIS and operations, to determine scope and priorities of projects.
• Recommends and develops plans for systems development and operations; and hardware and software purchases.
• Manages the development, implementation, installation, and operation of information and functional systems for the organization.
• Develops, implements, and monitors MIS policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Negotiates and contracts with consultants, technical personnel, and vendors for services and products.
• Provides support to end users in the selection, procurement, usage, and maintenance of software programs and hardware.
• Manages computer operation scheduling, backup, storage, and retrieval functions.
• Keeps up to date with new development in computer hardware, software, data management techniques, and general business and manufacturing systems.
