Job brief:

As a ERP Engineering Manager at The Weather Company, you will lead the back-office ERP development team, oversee system support and maintenance, and drive the annual roadmap of business and IT ERP projects. This role ensures the availability and evolution of the Oracle NetSuite ERP/WMS platform, supporting Accounting and Finance in managing P2P, O2C, and R2R workflows, data flow, and reporting.

You will act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, users, and the ERP Engineering team, providing transparency, governance, and technical expertise. Combining elements of Scrum Master and Technical Product Owner, this role offers opportunities to expand into broader IT product and service management.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering high-quality, scalable solutions on Oracle NetSuite.
• Integrating front- and back-end systems via Boomi and marketplace APIs.
• Deploying solutions using enterprise change management policies and automated tools.
• Ensuring production-grade, fully tested work is delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with agile DevOps practices.
• Leading, mentoring, and managing a team of engineers and developers.
• Overseeing the design, development, and implementation of application solutions, including custom applications, workflows, and integrations.
• Ensuring ERP workflow solutions align with business requirements and best practices.
• Managing the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
• Maintaining the stability, performance, and security of applications.
• Monitoring system health, performing regular maintenance, and implementing upgrades and patches as needed.
• Developing and enforcing application governance policies and procedures.
• Identifying opportunities to enhance and optimize application processes and solutions.
• Staying up to date with application releases and new features, assessing their potential impact on the organization.
• Collaborating with business stakeholders, IT teams, and other departments to understand needs and ensure application solutions meet requirements.
• Communicating project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders and senior management.
• Facilitating workshops and training sessions to promote effective application use across the organization.
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation of application configurations, customizations, and processes.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

What you've accomplished:

• 8+ years of experience in software development and administration, including at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role within an IT department.
• Strong understanding of Oracle NetSuite platform architecture, modules, and capabilities.
• Solid grasp of finance and accounting principles to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and bridge technical and financial domains.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
• Relevant certifications are highly desirable.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with AWS cloud environments.
• Experience with ETL platforms (Boomi).
