Job summary

Idyllic Enterprises, LLC seeks a precise Accounting & Payroll Specialist to manage day-to-day bookkeeping and own payroll processing, including tax payments and filings. You will collaborate with the CPA-led Finance team, helping migrate data from QuickBooks to Odoo during a strategic ERP transition.

You will handle end-to-end payroll, time-tracking audits, and regulatory reporting while supporting month-end closing and ledger reconciliations in a growing environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience with at least 1 year in payroll processing and payroll tax reporting.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks; exposure to Odoo or ERP data migration is a plus; strong Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of payroll tax laws, wage-and-hour regulations, and basic accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll including wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
• Collect and audit timesheets, secure manager approvals, and ensure accurate tax withholding.
• Prepare quarterly and annual payroll tax reports (Forms 941, 940, state unemployment).
• Assist year-end payroll reconciliation and distribution of W-2/1099 forms.
• Support ERP migration from QuickBooks to Odoo and participate in data validation.
