Job summary

Stephen Gould Corporation in Beachwood, OH is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to manage receiving and shipping at 3PL warehouses and suppliers, maintain accurate receipts, and ensure supplies are on hand to fulfill orders.

The role collaborates with 3PL partners, buyers, schedulers, and sales teams within the Sales Department, reporting to the branch Office Manager. Strong attention to detail, communication, and independent work are essential.

Qualifications

3+ years of related production planning/forecasting experience within a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, economics or other related field or experience.
ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system knowledge for core supply chain, manufacturing, services, financial and other processes of an organization required.
High Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and virtual communication and collaboration tools - such as Microsoft Teams, Webex and Zoom highly preferred.
Experience in a corporate sales and service environment is preferred.
Ability to think analytically, apply sound judgment, and solve problems.
Attention to detail and service oriented.
Ability to manage multiple tasks at a time to meet delivery deadlines.
Strong communication skills with both front office staff and warehouse staff.
Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
Must work well independently and be self-motivated.

Responsibilities

Ensure materials are received into the correct location (specific warehouse and/or supplier/subcontractor).
Monitor AP Invoice Exceptions dashboard for invoices without receipts.
Allocate and release materials for customer shipments.
Create pack slips & attach necessary documents to when needed to ensure timely invoicing to the customer.
Monitor Release Schedule dashboard to manage incoming POs and outgoing SOs.
Monitor and ensure information from 3PLs and/or suppliers is provided accurately and timely.
Resolve discrepancies with accounting regarding packing slips, and receiver reports.
Monitor the flow of paperwork from shipping or receiving to inventory control for timely data entry.
Communicate with all departments to accomplish the shipping and receiving mission in an effective and efficient manner.
