Job description

Employment Duration: 6 months. This position is primarily remote; however occasional on-site presence may be required.

The ERP Data Migration Analyst plays a critical role in the successful migration of legacy supply chain data to Oracle Cloud. This position bridges the gap between raw technical data and business utility and is responsible for the end-to-end integrity of master data, including vendor, item, and location files. The role ensures data is accurately extracted, transformed, and validated for use within the new ERP environment.

Responsibilities
  • Data Extraction & Integration: Independently extract and integrate complex datasets from multiple legacy systems and disparate text file formats to support migration workstreams.
  • ETL & Data Transformation: Utilize advanced Excel functions to clean, map, and transform raw data into upload‑ready formats for Oracle Cloud.
  • Database Integrity & Maintenance: Perform regular audits and status reporting to ensure database updates are accurate and consistent with business rules.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data anomalies and quality issues using error detection and process improvement strategies.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a technical point of contact for data‑related inquiries, working closely with Technology Operations and Supply Chain leadership to maintain project timelines.
  • Compliance & Standards: Enforce master data management policies and standards to ensure long‑term data health following migration.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Direct experience working with vendors, suppliers, or internal business stakeholders to collect, validate, or resolve data issues.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Master Data Management (MDM), Supply Chain systems (MMIS), or data analysis.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency, including experience with VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, and data parsing/cleaning techniques.
  • Experience working within an ERP environment (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Infor, PeopleSoft, Allscripts), preferably supporting a system migration or implementation.
  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with demonstrated ability to design and improve business processes for managing data throughout its lifecycle.
  • Highly self‑motivated and intellectually curious, with the ability to work independently and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
