Job summary

Sheakley Workforce Staffing seeks an ERP Data Engineer to ensure data integrity within the ERP system and drive engineering changes across manufacturing and supply chain. You will build end-to-end data pipelines, develop KPIs, and create AWS dashboards for stakeholders.

The role requires 5+ years in data engineering in manufacturing, strong Python/Java/SQL skills, and experience with ERP systems. On-site in Santa Maria, CA with data-driven transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering within a manufacturing ERP environment.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Scala; SQL; familiarity with AWS and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of ERP data (BOMs, routings, parameters).
• Audit data and maintain integrity across manufacturing and supply chain processes.
• Design, implement, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines for large data volumes.
• Coordinate with engineering, industrialization, and production teams on changes.
• Monitor and document impacts of engineering changes on system operations.
• Develop AWS dashboards and reports to support business needs.
• Utilize data visualization tools to present findings clearly.
• Serve as ERP SME; evaluate new features and integrations for implementation.
• Conduct training sessions for key users; develop user guides.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for system users.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to deliver tailored solutions.
• Support Digital Transformation projects with risk management.
• Document designs, workflows, and best practices for knowledge sharing.
• Perform other functions to meet organizational goals; ensure safety and compliance.
