Job summary

Sherwood Companies seeks a Business Applications Analyst to own core business systems and field applications, collaborating with Construction Technology, Operations, Finance, HR, and external vendors. The role focuses on ERP readiness, app documentation, testing, reporting needs, and small technology projects.

You will support cloud journey, modernization, and integrations, while improving processes and ensuring secure, scalable IT delivery for construction operations and field teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Construction Management, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience supporting ERP, financial, operational, field management, document management, HR, reporting, or construction technology apps.
• Strong business analysis skills: requirements gathering, process mapping, user stories, testing coordination, documentation.
• Experience coordinating technology deployments, cross-functional launches, or office openings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as IT owner for assigned business applications, vendors, access requests, and support procedures.
• Coordinate disaster recovery planning, testing, and documentation.
• Lead technology coordination for field deployments with project teams and vendors.
• Develop standardized jobsite technology processes, checklists, and readiness criteria.
• Assist cloud journey, migrations, and transitions to SaaS platforms.
• Define requirements and assist with ERP readiness from an IT perspective.
• Gather requirements via stakeholder interviews, workflow reviews, and user stories.
• Analyze application issues, gaps, and user experience; coordinate resolution with teams.
• Maintain an accurate application portfolio including ownership, licenses, and integrations.
