Summary:
An ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Analyst is responsible for managing, configuring, supporting, and improving the company's ERP systems to ensure seamless operations across departments. Their role is essential in helping businesses integrate various business functions, such as finance, HR, supply chain, and manufacturing, through a centralized system. The ERP Analyst plays a critical role in managing and optimizing the company's ERP system to ensure business processes are integrated efficiently and effectively. They will work closely with various departments to understand their requirements, troubleshoot issues, provide training, and contribute to system upgrades and implementations. The ERP Analyst will also assist in customizing the ERP software to meet the specific needs of the business, ensuring data integrity and optimizing system performance.
Responsibilities:
System Administration & Support: Oversee daily ERP system functions, including monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Provide technical support to end users, addressing system-related issues, and ensuring user satisfaction. Develop, implement, and maintain system security and backup procedures.
Configuration & Customization: Configure ERP modules to align with business requirements and workflows. Work with IT teams and external vendors to customize ERP functionalities and integrate third-party applications.
Business Process Improvement: Collaborate with departments (Finance, HR, Inventory, etc.) to understand their processes and identify areas where the ERP can enhance efficiency. Recommend and implement solutions to optimize system performance and business processes.
Training & Documentation: Provide training to end users on the ERP system, creating user manuals and guides. Document system changes, processes, and procedures for future reference.
Upgrades & Testing: Coordinate and test ERP upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Participate in the evaluation and selection of new ERP solutions or tools when necessary.
Data Management & Reporting: Ensure accurate data entry and system updates to maintain data integrity. Develop and run ad-hoc and regular reports to help management with data-driven decision-making.
Project Management: Support the implementation of new ERP modules or enhancements. Manage small ERP-related projects, including setting timelines, tracking progress, and ensuring deadlines are met.
