Job description

Erosion Control Installation and Maintenance/New Construction Landscape Maintenance Foreman Position.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Install Erosion Control using plans provided.
2. Inspect erosion control measures to ensure silt is not leaving the construction site and record findings accurately.
3. Clean and repair erosion control systems as needed.
4. Maintain landscapes for new construction projects, typically between 1 month and 1 year post-installation, including setting up and maintaining temporary irrigation, mowing, trimming grass, and cleaning sidewalks and parking lots. Training and mentoring will be provided.
5. Supervise team members when tasks require multiple personnel.
6. Operate hydromulchers for hydromulch installation.
7. Maintain a good driving record and be willing to obtain a CDL.
8. Pass a background check to access work sites such as Ft. Riley and NBAF.
9. Coordinate with other landscape crews as necessary.
10. Operate landscape equipment including skid steers, rototillers, trenchers, chainsaws, sod cutters, brick saws, and others.
11. Perform snow removal duties, including plowing and shoveling during winter months.
12. Perform other duties as required.
13. Ability to lift 80+ pounds regularly.
